Watermelon Smoothie Recipe

This refreshing Watermelon Smoothie is the perfect summer drink—cooling, hydrating, and naturally sweet. With minimal ingredients, it’s ideal for a light breakfast or a revitalizing snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups seedless watermelon, cubed About 450g.
  • 1 cup ice cubes About 120g.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 4 leaves fresh mint leaves Plus extra for garnish.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Measuring cup
  • 2 Serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Prepare the watermelon by removing the rind and cutting it into cubes.
  2. Place the watermelon cubes, ice cubes, lime juice, honey or agave syrup (if using), and mint leaves into the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed for about 1 minute, until the mixture is completely smooth and frothy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more honey or agave syrup.
  5. Pour evenly into two serving glasses.
  6. Garnish with extra mint leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra-chilled smoothie, you can freeze the watermelon cubes before blending.
Feel free to skip the sweetener if your watermelon is very ripe and sweet.
This recipe is vegan if agave syrup is used instead of honey.
