Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups watermelon, seedless, cubed and chilled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup optional based on sweetness
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt optional for creaminess
  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Measuring cup
  • 2 Glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. Cut the watermelon into cubes, removing any seeds.
  2. Place watermelon cubes, lime juice, and honey or maple syrup (if using) into the blender.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt if you desire a creamier texture.
  4. Toss in the ice cubes.
  5. Blend everything on high speed for 30–60 seconds, until completely smooth.
  6. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
  7. For an extra cold smoothie, freeze the watermelon cubes for 30 minutes before blending.
  8. Omit yogurt for a vegan or dairy-free version.
  9. Adjust the amount of honey/maple syrup to taste, depending on the sweetness of your watermelon.
  10. Garnish with fresh mint leaves or a slice of lime for a decorative touch.

Notes
