Vanilla Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or any milk
  • 1 medium banana fresh or frozen, about 120 g
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla Greek yogurt optional, for extra creaminess

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 Serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Pour the almond milk into the blender.
  2. Add the banana, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and ice cubes. If using, add the Greek yogurt.
  3. Blend on high speed for about 30–45 seconds, until completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or vanilla to preference.
  5. Pour evenly into two serving glasses.
  6. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a vanilla wafer.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen banana.
To make it vegan, use maple syrup and a non-dairy yogurt.
For extra protein, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
Refreshing on its own, or pair with granola for a more filling treat.
