Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks about 150 g
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks about 160 g
  • 1 medium ripe banana about 120 g, peeled
  • 1 cup coconut water or orange juice 240 ml
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or plant-based alternative 120 g
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup optional
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds optional, for extra fiber
  • 4-6 pieces ice cubes optional for a frostier texture

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 2 Glasses for serving

Method

  1. Prepare your ingredients by peeling the banana and cutting it into chunks.
  2. Add the frozen mango, frozen pineapple, banana, coconut water (or orange juice), and Greek yogurt into the blender.
  3. If you want extra sweetness, add honey or agave syrup. For added fiber and nutrition, add chia seeds.
  4. Add ice cubes if you prefer a more frosty consistency.
  5. Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds or until the mixture is completely smooth.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness as needed by adding additional honey or juice.
  7. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan smoothie, use plant-based yogurt and agave syrup.
You can use fresh fruit instead of frozen, but add more ice to achieve the desired thickness.
Try garnishing with fresh pineapple wedges or a sprinkle of toasted coconut.
