Method
- Prepare all ingredients by peeling and slicing the banana, and measuring out the frozen fruit, coconut milk, and orange juice.
- Add the frozen mango, frozen pineapple, banana, coconut milk, and orange juice into the blender. If you'd like a colder or thicker smoothie, add the ice cubes as well.
- Blend on high speed for about 1 minute, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed to ensure even blending.
- Taste and adjust the consistency or sweetness as desired (add more orange juice for a thinner smoothie, or a teaspoon of honey for extra sweetness).
- Pour the smoothie evenly into two glasses.
- Garnish with shredded coconut on top if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your tropical getaway in a glass.
Notes
For a dairy-free and vegan version, use plant-based coconut milk and avoid honey.
Fresh fruit can be used instead of frozen, but the smoothie will be less thick; add extra ice if desired.
You can also add a scoop of protein powder or a handful of spinach for added nutrition without altering the tropical flavor.
