Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled Use frozen strawberries for a frostier texture.
  • 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt or Greek yogurt Make it dairy-free by using plant-based yogurt alternatives.
  • 1 small banana, peeled
  • ½ cup milk, dairy or plant-based
  • 2 teaspoons honey Optional, to taste.
  • 4–6 ice cubes Optional, for a thicker smoothie.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 2 Glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries if using fresh berries.
  2. Add strawberries, yogurt, banana, and milk to the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 30–45 seconds.
  4. Taste and add honey if you desire extra sweetness. Blend briefly to combine.
  5. For a thicker smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  6. Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For extra nutrition, add a tablespoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseed before blending.
Use frozen strawberries for a frostier texture and to skip the ice cubes.
Make it dairy-free by using plant-based milk and yogurt alternatives.
Garnish with sliced strawberries or mint for a pretty touch.
