Method
- Prepare all ingredients. If not already done, slice the banana and hull the strawberries.
- Add frozen strawberries, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to your blender.
- Blend until smooth and thick. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add a splash more almond milk, a little at a time, until it blends smoothly.
- Divide the smoothie mixture evenly between 2 bowls.
- Arrange toppings (fresh strawberries, granola, coconut, chia seeds, and almonds) on top as desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy with a spoon.
Notes
For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and sweetener.
Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
Freeze any leftovers in popsicle molds for a fun frozen treat.
This smoothie bowl is best served immediately for optimal texture.
