Strawberry Smoothie

This classic strawberry smoothie is sweet, creamy, and refreshing. It’s perfect for breakfast, a quick snack, or a light dessert. The recipe is simple, using only a few ingredients you’re likely to have at home.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 medium banana, peeled
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 3/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 measuring cups
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 cutting board
  • 2 serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Wash the strawberries and remove the green stems.
  2. Slice the banana and strawberries for easier blending.
  3. Add the strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, milk, honey, and ice cubes to the blender.
  4. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste the smoothie. If you want it sweeter, add a little more honey and blend again.
  6. Pour the smoothie evenly into two serving glasses.
  7. Serve immediately while cold and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegan option, use plant-based yogurt and milk, and skip the honey or use maple syrup.
To make your smoothie extra thick, use frozen strawberries or bananas.
You can add a handful of spinach for extra nutrients without altering the taste much.
If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add a splash more milk during blending.
