Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 large banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) Optional ingredient for sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes Approximately 6-8 cubes.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 2 Serving glasses

Method

  1. Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Cut them in half.
  2. Peel and slice the banana.
  3. Add the strawberries, banana, milk, Greek yogurt, and honey (if using) to the blender.
  4. Add ice cubes on top.
  5. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
  6. Check the consistency. Add more milk for a thinner smoothie or more ice for a thicker result. Blend again if needed.
  7. Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use almond or oat milk and a dairy-free yogurt or skip the yogurt.
For an extra protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder.
You can substitute frozen fruit for a colder, thicker smoothie and skip the ice.
Adjust sweetness by increasing or omitting honey depending on your taste and the ripeness of the fruit.
This smoothie works well as a breakfast, mid-day snack, or a healthy dessert.
