Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh spinach packed
  • 1 medium ripe banana peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1 cup almond milk or any milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 measuring cups & spoons
  • 1 cutting board
  • 2 glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. Rinse the spinach thoroughly and pat dry.
  2. Peel and slice the banana.
  3. Place spinach, banana, frozen pineapple, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey (if using) into the blender.
  4. Add the ice cubes on top.
  5. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 60-90 seconds. Scrape down the sides if needed and blend again.
  6. Taste and add a little more honey or sweetener if you like it sweeter.
  7. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen banana instead of ice for a thicker, creamier smoothie.
Substitute coconut milk or oat milk for almond milk, if preferred.
Add a tablespoon of chia seeds or flaxseed for extra fiber.
For a protein boost, add a scoop of protein powder.
