Plum Smoothie

This refreshing Plum Smoothie pairs sweet ripe plums with tangy Greek yogurt for a nourishing and vibrant drink. Ideal for breakfast, a snack, or a healthy dessert, this smoothie delivers a burst of fruity flavor with a creamy texture.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces ripe plums, pitted and chopped About 300g total.
  • 1 medium banana, peeled and sliced About 120g.
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt 250g.
  • ½ cup cold milk Dairy or non-dairy.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional, adjust to taste.
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 Drinking glasses

Method
 

  1. Wash the plums thoroughly. Cut them in half, remove the pits, and chop into chunks.
  2. Peel the banana and slice it into chunks.
  3. Place the chopped plums, banana, Greek yogurt, milk, honey, and ice cubes into the blender.
  4. Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding a bit more honey.
  6. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately, garnished with an extra plum slice if you like.

Notes

For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and milk, and maple syrup as a sweetener.
To make it more filling or boost fiber, add a tablespoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseed before blending.
If you prefer a chilled, thicker smoothie, freeze the fruit before blending.
