Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium banana, ripe, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla For a dairy-free version, use coconut yogurt or almond milk yogurt.
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, fresh or store-bought
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, for extra sweetness.
  • 1 cup ice cubes Adjust amount for thicker or thinner texture as preferred.

Method
 

  1. Prepare the pineapple by peeling, coring, and dicing it into chunks.
  2. Slice the banana.
  3. Add the pineapple chunks, banana slices, Greek yogurt, orange juice, honey (if using), and ice cubes to the blender.
  4. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, adding a touch more honey if desired. Blend again to combine.
  6. Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately, garnished with a pineapple wedge if desired.
  7. For a dairy-free version, use coconut yogurt or almond milk yogurt.
  8. Consider adding a handful of spinach for extra nutrients while keeping the flavor sweet and tropical.
  9. Adjust the quantity of ice for the desired smoothie texture, making it thicker or thinner based on preference.
  10. If using frozen pineapple, reduce or omit the ice cubes for the best consistency.
