Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter smooth or crunchy
  • 2 medium bananas peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup milk dairy or any plant-based alternative
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional, for sweetness
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or plain yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 Glasses

Method
 

  1. Add the sliced bananas, peanut butter, milk, yogurt, and vanilla extract (if using) into the blender.
  2. Add honey or maple syrup if a sweeter smoothie is desired.
  3. Toss in the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Blend again for a few seconds if you add anything.
  6. Pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Substitute almond butter or cashew butter for a different nutty flavor.
For extra nutrition, add a handful of spinach or 1 tablespoon of chia seeds before blending.
Use frozen bananas for a thicker, colder smoothie.
Omit yogurt for a dairy-free option.
