Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup chilled brewed coffee
  • 1 medium-sized banana (ripe) Peel and break into chunks.
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • ½ cup milk (any type)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup ice cubes About 6-8 cubes.
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips (optional) For garnish.

  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 Tall glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. Prepare the brewed coffee ahead of time and let it chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Peel the banana and break it into chunks.
  3. Add the chilled coffee, banana, cocoa powder, Greek yogurt, milk, honey or maple syrup, and ice cubes into the blender.
  4. Blend on high for about 1 minute, until the mixture is completely smooth and frothy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more honey or syrup if desired.
  6. Pour into two tall glasses.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top for garnish. Serve immediately while cold.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use a frozen banana instead of fresh.
To make it vegan, use dairy-free yogurt and plant-based milk.
To boost the nutrition, add a handful of spinach or a scoop of protein powder.
For added decadence, drizzle some chocolate syrup on top before serving.
