- Peel and slice the bananas. If using fresh, you may want to add a few extra ice cubes for texture.
- Place bananas, spinach, matcha powder, almond milk, and honey or maple syrup into the blender.
- Add the ice cubes on top.
- Blend on high until the smoothie is completely smooth and bright green, about 1-2 minutes.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately, garnished with a sprinkle of extra matcha powder if desired.
Notes
Use frozen bananas for an extra creamy, frosty smoothie.
Add 1 tablespoon chia seeds or hemp seeds for extra fiber and protein.
Substitute almond milk with oat, soy, or dairy milk as desired.
For a richer taste, add 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt.
