A classic tropical delight, this mango smoothie is creamy, refreshing, and naturally sweet. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or as a light dessert, it blends ripe mangoes, yogurt, and a touch of honey for irresistible flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large ripe mango About 300g, peeled and pitted.
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk Any type.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, adjust to taste.
  • 6 cubes ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice Optional, for brightness.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Measuring cup
  • 2 Serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Peel and chop the mango into small cubes.
  2. Place mango, yogurt, milk, honey (if using), lime juice (if using), and ice cubes into the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 40-60 seconds.
  4. Taste and add more honey if desired. Blend again briefly if added.
  5. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
  6. Optionally, garnish with additional mango pieces or a slice of lime for presentation.

Notes

For a dairy-free smoothie, use plant-based yogurt and milk.
You can add a pinch of ground cardamom for an Indian touch, or a small banana for extra creaminess.
If you like a thicker smoothie, use frozen mango chunks instead of fresh.
Adjust the sweetness based on the ripeness of the mango.
