Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup coconut milk light or full-fat.
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional, to taste.
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes optional, for extra thickness.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Glasses for serving

Method

  1. Add the frozen mango chunks, frozen pineapple chunks, coconut milk, orange juice, and honey or maple syrup (if using) into the blender.
  2. Add ice cubes if you prefer a thicker, frostier smoothie.
  3. Blend on high speed for about 1 minute, or until completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste, and add a little more sweetener if needed. You may also adjust the consistency with a splash of extra coconut milk or orange juice.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
  6. For a vegan version, use maple syrup or simply leave out the sweetener if your fruit is ripe enough.
  7. You can substitute almond or oat milk for coconut milk for a different flavor.
  8. For added protein, blend in a scoop of plain or vanilla protein powder.
  9. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple or a sprinkle of shredded coconut for an extra touch.
