Ingredients
  

  • 3 pieces ripe kiwis, peeled and chopped About 180g total.
  • 1 medium banana, peeled and sliced About 120g.
  • 1 cup chilled unsweetened almond milk Can substitute with dairy milk or any plant milk.
  • 2 teaspoons honey Optional, adjust to taste.
  • 6 pieces ice cubes

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 Glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. Peel and chop the kiwis and banana.
  2. Place the chopped kiwi and banana into the blender.
  3. Add the chilled almond milk, honey, and ice cubes to the blender.
  4. Blend on high until completely smooth, about 45 seconds.
  5. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey.
  6. Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately.
  7. Optionally, garnish with a slice of kiwi or a sprinkle of chia seeds for an appealing touch.

Notes

You can substitute almond milk with coconut water for a lighter version.
For extra fiber, toss in a tablespoon of chia seeds before blending.
If you prefer a thicker smoothie, use frozen banana slices or reduce liquid.
To make it vegan, ensure honey is replaced with agave syrup or maple syrup.
Garnish with a slice of kiwi or a sprinkle of chia seeds for an appealing touch.
