Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk For a nut-free version, substitute with oat or coconut milk.
  • 1 medium banana Frozen, about 120g.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric Key ingredient for the smoothie’s color and benefits.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Add more for warmer flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger Or use 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds Optional, for extra fiber.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil Optional, for richness.
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper Helps with turmeric absorption.
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes About 6 cubes.

Method
 

  1. Add almond milk, banana, honey or maple syrup, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, chia seeds (if using), coconut oil (if using), black pepper, and ice cubes to the blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
  5. Optional: Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or extra chia seeds for garnish.

Notes

Using fresh ginger adds more zing; powdered ginger is milder.
Adjust the spices to your taste preference. Add more cinnamon for warmth or more turmeric for a stronger golden color.
Black pepper is important to boost curcumin absorption from turmeric.
For a nut-free version, substitute almond milk with oat or coconut milk.
You can use agave, dates, or another sweetener as desired.
Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or extra chia seeds for garnish.
