- Add almond milk, banana, honey or maple syrup, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, chia seeds (if using), coconut oil (if using), black pepper, and ice cubes to the blender.
- Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
- Optional: Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or extra chia seeds for garnish.
Notes
Using fresh ginger adds more zing; powdered ginger is milder.
Adjust the spices to your taste preference. Add more cinnamon for warmth or more turmeric for a stronger golden color.
Black pepper is important to boost curcumin absorption from turmeric.
For a nut-free version, substitute almond milk with oat or coconut milk.
You can use agave, dates, or another sweetener as desired.
