Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed Flaxseed must be ground for best nutrient absorption.
  • 1 medium banana About 120 grams, peeled and sliced.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries About 140 grams.
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk Can substitute with any plant-based or dairy milk.
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt For extra protein, add a scoop of protein powder.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional, about 21 grams; can skip for a vegan option.
  • 4-6 pieces ice cubes

  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 Drinking glasses

Method
 

  1. Place the banana, frozen mixed berries, ground flaxseed, almond milk, Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and ice cubes into the blender.
  2. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, adding more honey as desired.
  4. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
