Cucumber Smoothie Recipes

This cucumber smoothie is a refreshing, low-calorie beverage perfect for hot days or post-workout recovery. Combining cool cucumber with zesty lime, sweet apple, and creamy yogurt, this drink is both hydrating and delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped About 200g.
  • 1 medium green apple, cored and chopped
  • 120 ml plain unsweetened yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice Juice of ½ lime.
  • 4-5 leaves fresh mint
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup Optional, to taste.
  • 120 ml cold water
  • 8-10 cubes ice

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 2 Drinking glasses

Method
 

  1. Peel the cucumber and chop it into chunks. Core and chop the apple.
  2. Add cucumber, apple, yogurt, lime juice, mint leaves, and cold water to the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth, about 1 minute.
  4. Taste and add honey or maple syrup if you’d like extra sweetness. Blend briefly to combine.
  5. Add ice cubes and blend again until smoothie is frothy and chilled.
  6. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan version, use dairy-free yogurt.
You can substitute mint with fresh basil for an herbal twist.
Add a handful of spinach for an extra nutrient boost without compromising the fresh flavor.
If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add more water.
