Coconut Milk Smoothie

This creamy, tropical coconut milk smoothie is the perfect refreshing drink for a hot day. It blends the rich flavor of coconut milk with banana and pineapple for a naturally sweet treat that’s dairy-free and vegan.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup coconut milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 medium banana Fresh or frozen, about 120g.
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks Fresh or frozen, about 150g.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, adjust to taste.
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut For garnish, optional.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cup
  • 1 Knife
  • 2 Glasses

Method
 

  1. Slice the banana if using fresh fruit.
  2. Add coconut milk, banana, pineapple chunks, and ice cubes to the blender.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup if you like a sweeter smoothie.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 30–60 seconds.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Blend again briefly if you added more sweetener.
  6. Pour the smoothie into two glasses.
  7. Garnish each glass with shredded coconut if desired.
  8. Serve immediately while cold.

Notes

You can substitute other sweeteners or skip sweetener altogether for a lower calorie option.
For an extra-cold smoothie, use all frozen fruit and omit the ice.
Add a handful of spinach for a green boost without changing the flavor much.
This recipe is vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free.
