- Add frozen cherries, banana, cocoa powder, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and maple syrup (if using) to your blender.
- If you prefer a thicker consistency, add the ice cubes.
- Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth. Pause to scrape down the sides if needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup or honey if desired.
- Pour into two glasses.
- Top with dark chocolate shavings for an extra chocolaty finish (optional).
- Serve immediately.
Notes
To turn this into a protein-packed smoothie, add a scoop of chocolate or vanilla protein powder.
You can use fresh cherries (pitted) instead of frozen. Add more ice to chill the smoothie.
Dairy-free? Use coconut yogurt instead of Greek yogurt.
For extra creaminess, add half an avocado.
