  • 2 cups unsweetened milk of choice 480 ml; dairy or plant-based.
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 16 g.
  • 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup 10 ml (optional, adjust to taste).
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 2.5 ml.
  • 1 cup ice cubes About 8 cubes.

Method
 

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them into large chunks.
  2. Add bananas, milk, cocoa powder, honey (if using), vanilla extract, ice cubes, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more honey or milk if needed. Blend again briefly.
  5. Pour into two serving glasses and enjoy immediately.
  6. For an extra creamy texture, use frozen banana slices instead of ice cubes.
