Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups frozen cherries, pitted Using frozen cherries gives the smoothie a thicker, frostier texture.
  • 1 medium banana, ripe Peeled.
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk Substitute regular milk or another non-dairy milk if preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) Adjust sweetness if needed.
  • 4-6 cubes ice cubes (optional) For extra thickness.

Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. If using fresh cherries, pit them first.
  2. Add frozen cherries, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey (if using) to the blender.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  4. For a thicker smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, adding more honey or maple syrup as desired.
  6. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra protein, add a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder.
