Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium celery stalks About 160g.
  • 1 medium green apple About 180g.
  • ½ medium cucumber About 100g.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 15ml.
  • 1 cm knob fresh ginger About 5g.
  • 1 cup water 240ml.
  • 1 cup ice cubes About 120g.
  • 1 teaspoon honey or agave, optional 5ml, if extra sweetness is desired.

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Measuring cup
  • 1 Glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. Wash the celery, green apple, and cucumber under running water.
  2. Cut celery into small pieces. Core and chop the apple. Slice the cucumber. Peel the ginger.
  3. Add celery, apple, cucumber, ginger, lemon juice, water, and ice cubes to a blender.
  4. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  5. Taste and add honey or agave if you prefer a sweeter smoothie.
  6. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
  7. For added creaminess, consider blending in half a frozen banana.
  8. Optionally, add a scoop of protein powder for an energy boost.
  9. Adjust the water amount based on your preferred smoothie thickness.
  10. For extra fiber, do not strain the smoothie.
