Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 medium ripe banana Peeled before blending.
  • 1 cup low-fat milk Or almond milk for vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt Can use plant-based yogurt for a vegan option.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes Optional, for thicker smoothie.

Method
 

  1. Place the frozen blueberries, peeled banana, milk, Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and vanilla extract into the blender.
  2. Add ice cubes if you want a thicker, frostier texture.
  3. Secure the blender lid and blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary. Blend for a few more seconds if you add more sweetener.
  5. Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra nutritional boost, add a tablespoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseed before blending.
If you prefer a dairy-free or vegan option, use plant-based yogurt and milk.
You can replace honey with agave syrup or date syrup for different sweetener options.
Frozen berries provide a thicker texture, but you can use fresh blueberries and add more ice if desired.
