Method
- If using fresh blackberries, rinse them thoroughly under cool water. Peel and slice the banana.
- Add the blackberries, sliced banana, almond milk, Greek yogurt, and honey (if using) into the blender.
- If you’re using fresh berries, add ice cubes to the blender for a chilly, thicker smoothie.
- Blend on high speed for 45 seconds or until smooth and creamy.
- Taste, and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.
- Pour the smoothie evenly into two glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt instead of Greek yogurt and substitute honey with maple syrup or agave nectar.
You can add a handful of spinach for extra nutrients; it won’t impact flavor noticeably.
If using frozen berries, omit the ice cubes for a smoother texture.
Adjust the milk quantity for a thinner or thicker smoothie.
