- Prepare the avocado by cutting it in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into the blender.
- Add the cold milk, ice cubes, honey or maple syrup, yogurt, vanilla extract, salt, and lime juice (if using) to the blender.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure all ingredients are well mixed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness if desired, adding more honey or milk if necessary.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
- For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and yogurt and maple syrup.
- You can freeze avocado chunks beforehand for an extra-chilled smoothie.
- Add a handful of spinach for a boost of greens without affecting flavor, if desired.
