Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium apples, cored and chopped Leave the peel on for extra fiber if desired.
  • 1 cup milk Dairy or non-dairy.
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional, for extra sweetness.
  • ½ cup ice cubes

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 2 Glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. Prepare the fruit. Peel and slice the bananas. Core and chop the apples—leave the peel on for extra fiber if desired.
  2. Add the sliced bananas, chopped apples, milk, yogurt, honey (if using), and ice cubes to the blender.
  3. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed to ensure even blending.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired. Blend again to mix.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy chilled.

Notes

For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and yogurt alternatives.
Add a pinch of cinnamon or a handful of spinach for extra flavor and nutrients.
If your apples are very tart, you may want more honey.
Best enjoyed fresh, but can be kept in the fridge for up to 6 hours. Stir before drinking as separation may occur.
