Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 medium bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 4 teaspoons honey (or maple syrup) For a vegan option, choose maple syrup instead of honey.
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 Glasses for serving

Method
 

  1. Add the almond butter, bananas, almond milk, honey, ice cubes, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt into the blender.
  2. Blend on high for 30–60 seconds, until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the smoothie; if you want it sweeter, add a bit more honey and blend briefly again.
  4. Pour the smoothie into two glasses.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.
  6. For an extra protein boost, consider adding one scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder to the blender.
  7. If you want a thinner consistency, add a splash more almond milk and blend.
